Understanding what “Stay at Home Dad” actually is?

Everywhere in the world people have the tendency of mommy being stay with kids at home and take care of home and kids where as father goes to work to fulfill the financial need of the family. That’s a stereotype completely, why can’t be a father stay at home and take care or home or actually work from home along with taking care of kids if not doing the household.

Let’s understand the actual meaning of stay at home dad.

Stay at home dad need not necessarily a Dad just doing household things and taking care of babies…this is a wrong conception and need to be clear..

A stay at home dad is a father who cares for his kids. He may be working full time or part time and may have the flexibility of work timing, or doing a business or blogging or freelancing and His spouse may be working full time.

People in India have a tendency to expect and presume things from every aspect of life and they all need not to be followed when it comes to be a father.

You may be a stay at home dad because Your work or business permits you to work from home along with taking care of your children’s and your family.

You may be a stay at home dad because you have given your partner opportunity to go ahead in her career, looking at the better opportunities in her work then a usual household stuff.

You may be a stay at home dad because you want to enjoy every moment of your baby’s growth and want to see his/her first crawl, first time when he/she sit on it’s own, first time when he/she walk and so many first milestone of your kid.

OR

You may be a stay at home dad because you just want to be the one and break the stereotype.
