Best Time to Visit
June to September and December to February are the best months. These dry seasons are ideal for gorilla trekking and safaris.
Visa Info
Most travelers can get a visa on arrival or apply online. Rwanda also offers an East Africa Tourist Visa with Kenya and Uganda.
Connectivity
MTN and Airtel provide good mobile coverage. Internet is reliable in cities and hotels, but slower in rural areas.
Costs
Rwanda is not a budget safari destination. Gorilla permits are expensive. Daily costs range from $100–200 for mid range travel, with higher costs for luxury lodges.
